Draughtsman

We are seeking a Draughtsman who will be responsible for designing exciting commercial visual merchandising concepts across the store as well as ensuring consistency of standards.

What you will do:

- You will research, develop and create designs for permanent and temporary activities including materials, trends, lighting, and props.
- You will Sketch designs and create mood boards including floor plans, seasonal in-store/ window sets, displays, PLV, pop-ups events and graphics in line with the brief provided by the brands.
- You will partner with the production/Installation supervisors to oversee the production of the chosen designs, checking the quality and making sure the project is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure the production/Installation supervisors' team have all the required information to supervise the transportation, installation, and dismantling of the décor elements.
- Identify and provide both executional and creative input to Retail Marketing on pop-up and event designs.
- Stay ahead of the game and up to date on global and local window design trends, materials and competition.
- Formulate strong partnership with the Visual Merchandiser planner and Installation/production supervisors' teams.
- Additional exciting tasks might be required.

Requirements

What you need to succeed in this role

We are looking for an experienced Draughtsman with the retail background! This role requires someone who is passionate in his endeavor to strive for excellence!

More specifically, we would love to hear from you if you can say yes to the below...

- You must have a minimum of 5 years of Design experience
- Think logically, can priorities effectively, multi-task and work to deadlines
- Certification in an Art or display discipline
- Experience in Microsoft proficient, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch-up.
