Draughtsman

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our dynamic team in the aluminium and glass industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that will guide the design and construction of our innovative products, the candidate will be responsible also for quantity surveying and estimation. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure precision and adherence to project specifications. Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
- Quantity surveying.
- Pricing projects and preparing quotations.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Revise and modify existing drawings as necessary based on feedback and project changes.
- Maintain organized records of all designs and revisions for easy reference.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all drawings.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and specifications.

- Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the aluminium and glass industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of fabrication and construction processes related to aluminium and glass.
- A relevant degree or technical certification in drafting or engineering technology is a plus.
