Duty Manager

As a Duty Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a department or an entire facility. This includes providing leadership and direction to staff members, ensuring their adherence to policies and procedures, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.

What you will be doing:

- Lead and manage all aspects of the Rooms departments and ensure all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Maximize room's revenue through participating in yield management meetings and implementing supporting agreed upon Revenue
- Management strategies and practices
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
- Supervision and Leadership
- Customer Service: must handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- You should strive to exceed customer expectation and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Staff Management: you are responsible for managing the scheduling staff members, this includes assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training and coaching, and addressing any disciplinary or performance-related issues.
- Operational Oversight: Duty Managers are responsible for ensuring smooth operations within the facility, this involves monitoring and maintaining service standards, coordinating with other departments, conducting regular inspections and addressing any operational challenges or issued that arise.
- Safety and Security: ensuring the safety and security of both guests and staff.
- Effective Communication in clear and professional way to effectively convey information, instructions and updates to the team.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges that arise during shifts.


Your experience and skills include:

- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
- Service focused personality is essential; experience is an asset
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Add diplomas/certifications required if needed
