Job Description

Join the distinguished team at Delano Dubai as a Duty Manager, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, providing our guests with a seamless and exceptional experience throughout their stay. Your leadership, strong attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to luxury service will be instrumental in upholding Delano's high standards. From overseeing daily hotel operations to ensuring guest satisfaction, you will manage the team, address guest needs, and ensure every aspect of their stay is handled with sophistication and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest experience management: Ensure that every guest receives personalized service, promptly addressing their needs, resolving any complaints, and delivering a memorable and luxurious stay.
  • Operational oversight: Supervise all hotel operations during your shift, ensuring all departments work efficiently and in alignment with Delano's standards of luxury hospitality.
  • Team leadership & coordination: Lead, motivate, and train associates, ensuring they provide excellent service and maintain high operational standards.
  • Problem solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during your shift, making quick, informed decisions to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
  • Communication: Collaborate with different departments (Housekeeping, Front Desk, F&B) to ensure seamless service delivery and consistency across the hotel.
  • Security & safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and associates by enforcing security protocols and responding effectively to emergencies.
  • Maintain standards: Ensure cleanliness and organization, maintaining Delano's luxury standards across all hotel areas.
  • Special requests: Address and fulfill special guest needs, offering personalized solutions.

Qualifications

  • Luxury expertise: You bring a proven background in luxury hospitality, whether at a high-end hotel or upscale restaurant, demonstrating your ability to offer refined and discreet service that goes above and beyond guest expectations.
  • Exceptional communication: Your communication and interpersonal skills are second to none, allowing you to engage with guests in an elegant manner that enhances their overall experience.
  • Operational expertise: You are well-versed in the operations of luxury hotels and management systems, with a deep understanding of high-end service protocols that ensure seamless day-to-day functions.
  • Educational background: A relevant qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, is preferred, reflecting our commitment to maintaining excellence.
