Job description / Role
The job holder is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
• Managing and motivating a team to increase sales, maximize profitability, meet targets and ensure efficiency.
• Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control; replenishment and delivery.
• Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and working practices of the airport e.g. security.
• Preparing promotional materials and in-store displays, in line with the guidelines from the Marketing Team.
• Handling the whole customer purchasing life cycle, assisting with choices in completing transactions and deliveries.
• Providing guidance to all team members on best practice in all aspects of the store activities.
• Guiding staff so that customer enquiries are both diplomatically and professionally handled at all times.
• Completing administrative tasks and running reports through computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook and MRMS.
• Looking after and reporting on all aspects of the store to the Terminal Manager and General Manager Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager.
Requirements
Language Requirements:
• Excellent English skills and Chinese
Basic Job Requirements:
• Degree educated or equivalent
• 2 years retail experience
• 2 years management experience
• Team player and self-starter who has confidence in handling HNW individuals
• Flexible and adaptable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Uses initiative, self-motivated and target orientated
