Job Title: E-Commerce Manager Department: E-Commerce and Digital Operations
Reports To: Head of Digital/Brand Manager Job
Summary: The E-Commerce Manager in the fashion industry is responsible for managing and growing the online presence of the brand, driving sales through the e-commerce platform, and delivering a seamless digital shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity. This role involves overseeing website management, digital marketing, inventory coordination, and ensuring the alignment of online strategies with the overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute an e-commerce strategy aligned with the brand’s goals and target audience.
• Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and implement online promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns tailored to fashion consumers.
• Oversee the functionality, design, and performance of the e-commerce platform, ensuring it reflects the brand's style and quality.
• Ensure the website is visually appealing, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive.
• Collaborate with designers and IT teams to update content, product descriptions, and images regularly.
• Optimize the site for conversions, including implementing features like personalized recommendations and size guides.
• Coordinate with merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure sufficient stock levels and timely availability of fashion collections.
• Use sales data to forecast demand and recommend adjustments to inventory and product mix.
• Lead and mentor the e-commerce team, including web developers, content creators, and digital marketers.
• Work closely with the design, marketing, and product teams to align online strategies with overall brand objectives.
• Build partnerships with external vendors, influencers, and platforms to enhance the e commerce presence.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields. • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools.
• Knowledge of the fashion market, trends, and customer behavior.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Expertise in visual merchandising and online fashion presentation.
