Charterhouse is working with an international 5 star luxury hotel group. Our client is looking to hire an E-Commerce Manager / Coordinator to position the brand website as the priority channel of electronic distribution and to optimise the hotel’s overall digital presence.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure accuracy of the property content and presentation on the brand and GHA websites as well as third party portals, directories and websites where the hotel is listed and / or distributes inventory. You will also report, analyse and act upon our clients website statistics (using brand key performance indicators); assist in reaching the targeted website sales and distribution goals along with ensuring consistent brand delivery through social and digital channels.

In addition, the main responsibilities of the role will include Website Management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), eMail Marketing, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Photo Optimisation, Website Analytics and Training / Education. Additional responsibilities and tasks may be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have previous experience working in a luxury hotel with relevant Middle East knowledge. You should have a qualification level of at least an undergraduate, Baccalaureate (Abitur), A Level or Professional Certification (Bachelor, University Degree, Hotel School Diploma). It is essential you have experience using a Content Management System as well as experience in Web & Electronic Distribution or Digital Marketing.

You should be passionate in achieving web traffic and revenue goals. Hotel operations and revenue management experience are a plus as well as the knowledge and experience of industry-specify measurements and best practices regarding PPC, SEO, SMO, CTR. You should also speak fluent English with excellent oral and written skills. Any other language is beneficial. You should be a goal oriented, motivated, calm, helpful and positive professional with the ability to multitask, follow through and re-prioritise to meet deadlines.
