E-commerce Merchandiser

We are seeking a E-commerce Merchandiser who will be responsible for consistency between online global brand strategy & local market specificities

You will be directly responsible for maximizing the user experience and conversion on our platform. You will manage the creation of edits and pages, with a strong focus on the Visual merchandising of the website categories, ensuring offerings and promotions are timely listed online in alignment with stores, and analyzing online purchasing data, competitor comparisons, and translate them into reports to update the E-Commerce Manager

What you will do:
• Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a the controlled and consistent manner
• You will understand and utilize the insight from analytical merchandising with the creative needs of brands, products and markets to deliver a VM approach that helps to achieve the KPIs of the brand (sales, productivity, profit)
• Demonstrate full awareness of brands & seasonal trends and their relevance to the Lacoste proposition, influencing all aspects of Visual Merchandising, researching media and competitors to share with the team any relevant findings for a more informed placement of product
• You will develop a deep understanding of product categories and product catalog to identify growth opportunities
• Manage/create/remove categories and collections on the website
• You will be responsible in ensuring consistency of product SKUs and labels with ERP systems
• Liaise with the content/graphic team to guide them on the choice of pushes/categories/products to push
• Identify product merchandising opportunities for email campaigns, catalogs and homepage pushes
• Liaise with the commercial team for new brands listing
• You will analyze web data to make recommendations for change to the front end of the website
• Develop newsletters in coordination with Digital Merchandising Manager
• Generate weekly/ monthly reports to E-Commerce Manager to include key insights on product performance and user experience
• You will be in charge of the Full Site QC Check and on leasing with the Product team for the Ticket Creation & Fulfilment
• Notify marketing/content team of new brand arrivals for photography so it’s ready to launch with Brand online
• Work with CRM to determine email schedule, select relevant product
• Work with Finance to determine budgets and forecasting
• In charge of the product Newness & Tracker Review
• Monitor stock levels to avoid out of stock issues during peak season
• Own the merchandising calendar – planning with marketing, content, social, email and seek to constantly optimize
• Forecast and create stock replenishment for the purchasing team to action
• Optimizing product pages including; product imagery, monitoring reviews, cross-sells/upsell and product page ‘special offer’ banners
• Process daily SMS to customers with pending orders to help minimize the cancelation rate



Requirements

What you need to succeed in this role

• A minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in transactional ecommerce
• Understand the Luxury market with interest in Fashion brands.
• Previous experience of working with Salesforce or similar tools
• Have high emotional intelligence and ability to understand cultural nuances.
