We are seeking a strong character with experience at C-Suite level to support the very active Chairman of this leading Abu Dhabi entity. The successful applicant above all else, must be able to manage the relationships the Chairman has with senior government officials, members of the Royal families in the UAE and senior businessmen globally. They must be aware of protocol when managing the Chairman’s diary and travel arrangements, both of which are extensive and time consuming.
There are also several key events that the Chairman hosts throughout the year and these need full management from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and professional service is provided to guests. Thus, the role is highly logistical, demanding strong organizational ability and focused attention to detail. The office is a close knit, team environment, with very little staff turnover in the last twenty years, hence internal relationships are extremely important and the right personality fit is vital.
Additionally, the role will also encompass responsibility for considerable personal work for the Chairman and extended family, which does consist of a large entourage. The EA will manage the Household staff requirements, personal travel for the family and look after various properties and any maintenance, renovation works required.
The successful applicant will have a good sense of humor, but understand boundaries and act with tact at all times. Obviously confidentiality and diplomacy are paramount and a level of trust will need to be built. This is an exciting role, with impressive scope, where the EA can work collaboratively with the Chairman.
