The school is located in the north of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in Al Rams. RAK Academy - Al Rams is a small primary school delivering the English National Curriculum through familiar resourcing such as White Rose Maths and Developing Experts. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), benchmarked against leading international British schools and are able to fully deliver the ECT induction to teachers.

The role

We are looking for a positive, driven and inspirational EYFS teacher to join the team. ECTs are welcome to apply.

Essential:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Years.
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice.
• Trained in delivering a British Curriculum.
• Experience of delivering EYFS Curriculum.
• Be able to engage, motivate and support children, staff and parents.
• Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate.
• Be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff.
• Be willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities.
• Most importantly, fully subscribe to the maxim that “all complex decision-making be based on what constitutes best practice for the child”.
