Job description / Role
We are currently working with an international electronics company. They are planning to launch a new online business and they are looking for an eCommerce Coordinator who will assist the eCommerce Manager in development and execution of direct marketing programs involving lead generation, channel support tactics as well as all other E-Commerce activities to achieve company objectives. You will also help manage the majority of the administrative tasks as well as provide the necessary support to all team members. You will be responsible for managing work with all third parties assisting e-commerce activities, including consultants, internal creative, customer service, and other e-commerce-related employees.
• Create and manage e-commerce projects within company’s project system and ensure that all projects follow the defined project process.
• Interface daily with resources to ensure tasks and sub-tasks have been clearly defined, are being completed in a timely manner.
• Update status daily on all projects and communicate to project sponsors of slowdowns, bottlenecks or completion of tasks as they occur.
• Be able to negotiate with management for use of key resources to help accomplish e-commerce goals.
• Accountable for reporting and analysis of e-commerce ‘Key Performance Indicators’ including traffic volume, quality, and conversion rate, while giving strong consideration for
• Web analytics, merchandising strategy, purchase trends, product mix and overall company objectives.
• Improve conversion ratios, to bring higher revenues and profitability and maximize all internet related marketing activities.
• Explore and contribute new or improved internet marketing “best practices” and revenue/profit-generating activities, when necessary
• Contributes to team by achieving monthly and quarterly goals.
Requirements
• Must have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in eCommerce
• Must have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in Retail Electronics or FMCG company
• Must be a Bachelor’s Degree Holder
• Must be willing to work on a contractual role for 6 to 8 months
