Ecommerce Director - FMCG

Job description / Role

• Overseeing product offer and merchandising. Ensuring sales are maximized and content delivered effectively
• Setting up commercial, digital media, content management and web presence.
• Aligning eCommerce strategy with local commercial direction in order to meet local needs
• Establish consistent and accurate product information on e-shop
• Create and upload meaningful assets (e.g., banners, images)
• Activate local promotion tools and systems.
• Analyze reports and monitor key metrics
• Prepare and execute planning calendar for each season, promotions and mailer campaigns
• Develop integrations with local partners (e.g., payment, age verification, delivery)
• Pay attention to B2B process exceptions approvals (payments terms, credit limits, etc.)
• Respond to customer service requests relating to the B2B eCommerce Platform
• Improve customer journey and drive growth through analysis of online experience
• Ascertain the eCommerce platform is operational and well used
• Ensure reporting and monitor vendor service level agreement

Requirements

• Proficiency in Order Management Systems, eCommerce, Email marketing, analytics reports of online sales
• Comprehensive understanding of eCommerce technologies, catalogue management, SEO and trade marketing
• Understanding of internal control processes, governance, finance and tax
• A strong understanding of market culture, online customer behaviour, and online and data trends
• Experience working in a multi-functional environment
