Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As E-Commerce Manager, you are required to manage the overall site traffic acquisition, development & sales performance of our client and any subsidiary sites. Accountable for the traffic acquisition, site conversion and achievement of revenue targets across all lines of business, for all online points of sale.

- Responsible for achieving the accounts’ sales target.
- Plan, forecast, generate and manage all eCommerce sales activities.
- Maintain adequate level of inventory at distributors for key accounts.
- Grow existing accounts, develop account plans to increase revenue.
- Build a brand new e-commerce based website.
- Influence customers’ mind share in order to increase sales and market share while maintaining a competitive position and yielding the highest possible returns on sales.
- Handle relationship with the account at all levels. Present and negotiate contracts.
- Work with and through other departments within company to ensure that all sales activities meet/satisfy all business and/or legal requirements.
- Record of growing online sales through U/X improvements
- Close involvement in a site rebuild and mobile site development
- Experience of budget ownership and successful delivery.

- Strong negotiating and influence skills to manage relationships with external parties and strong communication skills to interact with senior level business managers.
- Experience with e-commerce marketing in a range of industries.
- Understanding & Management of traffic acquisition, onsite conversion optimisation, and general web management.
- Experience of site optimisation tools.
- Experience in dealing with Digital and New Media Agencies
- Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics and content management systems and processes.
