Ecommerce Manager - Beauty

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working exclusively with an exciting, hugely successful beauty business which have a rare opening to join their team as Ecommerce Manager based in their Dubai regional HQ. This is a hands on role which will work closely with a small team and will manage all aspects of the online beauty store including; digital merchandising, performance analysis, optimization, day to day management of the site including creation of engaging content for all social channels.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career to transition in to a management position, working very closely with the business owners and commercial director to play a crucial role in driving business growth via online sales. This role would best suit an individual who is highly organised, able to project manage many different tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high standard of work. In this role you will take ownership for managing the trading of the online business, ensuring that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved, sales optimization techniques are applied effectively to drive conversion and traffic to the website. This is a highly analytical role where you will track all online activity including sales performance across all products, marketing campaigns and loyalty engagement, forecasting stock levels reporting shortages/overstock and making recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure effective action is taken. In addition you will manage the visual aesthetics of the website, overseeing upload of content, merchandising, promotions and ensuring that the products are accurately represented.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have at least 5 years progressive experience of website/ecommerce management, including optimisation. Extensive experience in digital merchandising ideally within personal care/beauty or fashion is essential. Strong working experience and knowledge of using Excel, and tools such as PhotoShop and Indesign are required. Candidates residing outside of the UAE are welcome to apply if they have relevant professional experience, however a relocation allowance will not be provided for this role.
