Ecommerce Marketplace Manager

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with an internationally recognised household brand, our client is looking to hire an ecommerce marketplace manager to develop the ecommerce business and manage all online distribution partner accounts.

This is an excellent and challenging opportunity to join a global brand, and provides the chance to develop and build the entire ecommerce strategy to support business growth plans. You will be responsible for creating effective ecommerce strategies and ensuring successful execution across the various ecommerce marketplaces. This role will involve managing key strategic partnerships with online distributors to ensure the best product mix and optimization between marketplaces. To support the growth of ecommerce business you will work to identify new online trading partners, and will manage everything from initial market analysis, strategy planning to contract negotiations and project management of the on boarding process. You will work closely alongside the Regional Sales Director and Marketing Director to provide detailed insights and analysis regarding sales forecasts, consumer trends, product performance and stock/inventory reports.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing ecommerce business/ online marketplace for an international brand ideally within consumer goods, beauty or electronics. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent presentation, communication and commercial planning skills. You must have strong experience and expertise in all aspects of ecommerce management including; account management, sales forecasting/planning, inventory and stock reporting, developing promotional campaigns and marketing strategies.
