An EKIN is a Retail Expert with a focus on unlocking every athletes* potential through our products, services and retail environment.Sun and Sand Sports Nike Middle-East is looking for an EKIN in Dubai as part of the Retail team. A person that can energize and foster passion in our consumers and retailers and that delivers support both at retail as well as during Brand Events for our key categories.

Create and conduct Product & Service clinics covering Innovation stories across all categories
• Manage assigned retail accounts and partner with the broader EKIN, Retail and Brand teams to consistently create energy, brand passion and elevated service levels within top doors
• Support Brand and Media events as defined within GCC
• Work with the EKIN Manager, EKIN Lead and Retail function to identify opportunities to deliver marketplace grassroots events and activities in order to connect with the consumer
• Complete and deliver reports as assigned; communicate opportunities; track relevant KPI’s
• Create and maintain a 30-60-90 day calendar of events, activities, goals and objectives
• Manage to assigned budget if necessary
• Support programs that will maximize and scale EKIN impact at strategic retail partners through the message and media that are meaningful

• Is accountable for contribution to Middle-East Retail and Brand plans
• Is aware of costs and assists in controlling costs related to own work
Role in Brand Protection/Promotion
• Performs work in support of NIKE’S Brand plans; links daily work with company mission; participates in initiatives and programs supporting functional visibility when appropriate
• Ensures actions protect company image and limits risks
• Actions impacting company image require management oversight and are constrained by Policies

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience
• 2-3 year retail and product service experience as well as coaching or teaching experience
• Strong connection with the sporting goods/lifestyle industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A genuine passion for the NIKE BRAND and NIKE’s product
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication is mandatory
• Professional / semi-professional sports background (especially in Running and/or Football) is an advantage
