Electrical Design Engineer

Job description / Role

International Engineering Consultancy requires a Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in their Dubai office.

The successful individual will work closely with the Associate Director and will be responsible for design and managing projects from start to finish in managing projects.

Key Responsibilities will include:
• Design of sustainable electrical systems
• Preparation and review of electrical engineering calculations in support of systems design
• Review design drawings and calculations for electrical systems
• Managing projects
• Acting as key contact for clients

Requirements

• Be degree educated in Electrical or Building Services Engineering or Similar
• Have a minimum of 4 - 6 years consultancy based design experience
• Have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working on GCC projects
• Be client facing
• Have a working knowledge of various building services design codes such as British Standards, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, IMC and other International design codes
• Have experience using relivant software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP
• Have experience of and be familiar with LEED requirement
