Job description / Role
He/she will ensure the accurate engineering and execution of all electrical equipment/works in projects as per the design specifications and engineering standards and at minimum cost to A&P and in accordance with QA/QC and company procedures.
The main job duties involve:
• Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installations and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other technical data to identify and correct power system problems.
• Work with power distribution systems, control systems, ELV systems and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Confer with colleagues to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
• Check and approve shop drawings, evaluation of design specifications and technical supplier’s drawings and specifications.
• Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems and needs.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered with SEWA as Engineer is a must.
• At least five (5) years of experience in the MEP Building Services with reputable contractors or consultancy firms with advanced knowledge, obtainable usually through a combination of experience and continuing education.
• AutoCAD / BIM experience highly desirable.
• Additional relevant qualification would be an advantage.
