Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Review of Contractor's submittals including material submissions, shop drawings, calculations, method statements etc.
- Attend weekly/ periodic site meetings with Contractor, Employer, Lead Consultant and any/all other stakeholders as and when required.
- Advise Project Director of any serious issues that need critical / urgent resolution on part of any of the stakeholders.
- Review shop drawings with consciousness of coordination with other trades like mechanical, structural and any specialist disciplines.
- Conduct site inspections besides leading a team of site inspectors.
- Issue NCR’s when required and attend meetings with design team members
- This is not an exhaustive list and the engineer will be expected to carry out all functions other than those typical to his position that are assigned to him from time to time.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Total experience not less than 13 years out of which a minimum of 8 should be in UAE.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience - employed with a Design Consultant as Supervising Engineer on site.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience - employed with a Contractor as Project Engineer - Should possess experience of completing at least one retail project preferably Shopping Mall of not less than 500,000 m2 built-up area.
