Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise installation of electrical equipment and wiring.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction phases.
- Prepare cost estimates and project documentation.
- Manage and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for electrical supplies and services.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations in the UAE.
- Proficient in electrical design software and AutoCAD.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Professional Engineering license is a plus.
