As part of a greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing setup, the Executive Electrical will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems that support production and operational excellence. The role focuses on ensuring high reliability, compliance with UAE regulations and international standards, energy efficiency, and the integration of innovative technologies to support the organization's growth. Additionally, the incumbent will focus on pharmaceutical-specific electrical systems, ensuring their optimal performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical maintenance and operations, working in rotational shifts for uninterrupted supply to support production.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and emergency backup systems.
• Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and electrical safety standards.
• Oversee electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects within the facility.
• Implement strategies to optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime in production and laboratory operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for procurement and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Operation, monitoring, and controlling of HVAC system including BMS, chillers, and AHU.
• Preventative maintenance of air handling units, chillers, dust collectors, etc.
• Rectify breakdowns and improve preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
• Implementation of SOPs and maintenance records.
• Support engineering team to improve maintenance system.
• Periodic maintenance of QC lab equipment (stability chambers, autoclave, incubators, laminar flow).
• Operation and maintenance of diesel generator.
• Coordinate with third party for fire alarm and control panel maintenance, fire pumps.

Candidate Experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering within the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or industrial manufacturing sectors, with exposure to greenfield projects preferred.

Key Skills

• Expertise in electrical design, maintenance, and energy optimization, especially for pharmaceutical systems.
• Proficiency in UAE electrical codes and global standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, SCADA, and pharmaceutical equipment requirements.
• Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
