Electrical Site Engineer

Job description / Role

Requirements

Proficient in cable sizing, load schedule preparation, and SLDs (Single Line Diagrams).
Hands-on experience with containment works, cable pulling, terminations, DB dressing, and panel installation.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, and other relevant authority regulations.
Coordinates with consultants and main contractors for site inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.
Supervises daily execution works, tracks site progress, and ensures adherence to the project timeline.
Prepares and reviews shop drawings, as-built drawings, and red-line markups.
Capable of preparing method statements, material submittals, and interfacing with procurement for material follow-ups.
Supports testing and commissioning activities including insulation resistance, continuity, and functional testing.
Knowledge of MEP coordination, especially with mechanical and civil teams on site.
Strong understanding of electrical standards, safety protocols, and authority submission requirements.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic electrical calculation tools.
