Electrician

Job description / Role

• To carry out in detail and with possible minimum supervision, the maintenance program of plant electrical & instrumentation equipment and auxiliaries.
• To monitors and maintains in good working condition all power equipment to include: low, medium & high voltage electrical network , transformers, high tension cut-off system, master central control room boards, frequency converter, diagnostic tools for insulation measurement, etc.
• To conducts routine inspection of all electrical & instrumentation equipment installation in the plant.
• To performs routine electrical & instrumentation maintenance activities as indicated on the maintenance plan.
• To undertakes non-routine activities ensuring compliance with work order specifications.
• To identifies potential and actual problems in machineries or equipment and applies appropriate solution using necessary tools and techniques in order to prevent breakdown or failure.
• Able to build job plans for repairs and work orders.
• To documents daily electrical maintenance activities on electrical logbook and by routine analyses such logs.
• To ensures good housekeeping on machines, equipment and work area.

• Follows safe work procedures and permit systems.
• Immediately report unsafe acts or conditions that is encountered in the daily performance of work.
• Complies with other Company rules and regulations related to Safety, Health & Environment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical / ITI
• 2 - 5 years in related functional capacity from a manufacturing environment.
