Position overview

Key responsibilities

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with DAA's curriculum and educational standards.

Develop creative and effective teaching strategies that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and a love of learning.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners in an international context.

Build strong, supportive partnerships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture rooted in respect, kindness, and global citizenship.

Engage in continuous reflection and collaboration to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Skills

Successful candidates will need:

Bachelor of Education (Elementary/Primary) or equivalent, with a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE) or license.

Proven experience teaching elementary students, preferably in an American or IB curriculum school.

Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and developmentally responsive education.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to ongoing professional growth and a collaborative, innovative mindset.
