ELV Technician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Extra Low Voltage systems across residential, commercial, or industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, structured cabling, and intercoms, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems including:
• CCTV surveillance
• Access control systems
• Fire alarm and smoke detection systems
• Structured cabling and data networks
• Intercom and public address systems
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve faults in ELV systems efficiently
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians
• Ensure installations comply with local regulations and safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and system configurations
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients or end-users
• Participate in site surveys and assist in system design and planning

• Proven experience as an ELV Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Familiarity with tools and testing equipment used in ELV installations
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Diploma or certification in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred)

Salary:
AED 2,000 to 3,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
