Job description / Role
Maintain the scholarship program, coordinating with academic institutions, monitoring student progress, and ensuring alignment with the organisations educational goals.

A local government entity in Abu Dhabi.
Description
* Engage with local entities to define scholarship requirements, quotas and focus areas ensuring alignment with overarching educational objectives.
* Facilitate students in obtaining acceptances from recognised academic institutions, reviewing their eligibility criteria and channelling suitable candidates for scholarship finalisation
* Regularly monitor and support employees on their academic journey, providing necessary assistance and tracking performance metrics.
* Maintain comprehensive records of scholarship awardees, and academic progress, and liaise with institutions to ensure compliance with scholarship terms.
* Provide periodic reports to higher management on scholarship disbursement, academic progress of awardees, and potential areas of improvement.
* Foster relationships with academic bodies and institutions, streamlining the scholarship application and approval process.
* Coordinate with other functions within the organisation, ensuring the scholarship process is in tandem with overall organisational objectives and priorities.
* Stay updated with changes in academic standards, scholarship criteria, and global best practices, integrating them into the scholarship program.
* Actively engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and contribute to personal and organisational growth

Requirements:
* UAE National with Family Book (REQUIRED)
* Bachelors degree in education, or related field
* 6+ years of experience in scholarship management, academic coordination or related fields.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
