Charterhouse is working with a leading global law firm that is looking to hire an Energy & Construction Disputes Solicitor to join its leading offering in Dubai. The firm would be interested in a high quality junior lawyer with experience of energy, power, construction and infrastructure disputes matters.

The role will involve working closely with the lead Disputes Partner and team in the firm’s Dubai office, as well as part of the wider Middle East and international network. The firm has an excellent reputation, a fantastic Blue Chip client-base dealing with large-scale matters across the MENA region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global law firm, as part of small collegiate team where you will gain great exposure to high end work, combined with long-term career development and training.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a qualified construction & energy disputes solicitor with c.1 - 3 years + high quality post qualification experience gained at an international / legal directories ranked law firm and experience of dealing with domestic litigation and international arbitration work and fora. The work will involve playing a key role in the disputes team acting for high profile clients on complex matters, so demonstrable experience of leading on sizeable disputes is essential, combined with excellent academics. Arabic language skills are not required. The firm is interested in speaking to Common Law qualified lawyers, already in the UAE or interested in relocating from the UK, Australia, New Zealand etc. Excellent tax free global law firm remuneration and package on offer.
