Job description / Role
Engineer - Interior Fit Out - Dubai Municipality Approved
FDC Interiors are currently recruiting for a Dubai Municipality registered Engineer who has experience in Interior fit out. In this role, you will be responsible as Project Engineer for each project, including ultimate responsibility for all design, documentation, estimates, tender reports and administration.
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Undertaking complex calculations
• Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
• Resolving design and development problems
• Managing budgets and project resources
• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
• Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture / Civil / Structural Engineering
• Over 5 years’ post graduate experience
• Prior experience working for architectural / Interior Design / engineering contractor or consultancy.
