Role: Network engineer
Employment type: Contract - 12 months and extendable
Work location: Dubai / Al Ain, UAE
Notice period: 30 days or less

Role 1 - Network engineer - Level 1

Job description:

• Provide level 1 technical support to external clients, troubleshooting network-related issues through phone, email, or remote assistance tools.
• Assist with maintenance of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Collaborate with the level 2 support team to escalate complex issues and engage in problem resolution activities.
• Monitor network performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize network operations and improve overall performance.
• Conduct network troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
• Respond to network outages and incidents, following established protocols and procedures to minimize downtime and maintain service level agreements (SLAs).

Role 2 - Network engineer - Level 2

Job description:

• Provide level 2 technical support for network-related issues, incidents, and service requests.
• Analyze and resolve complex network problems using various troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with level 1 and level 3 support teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
• Perform network capacity planning and optimization to ensure high performance and reliability of networks.
• Conduct network audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Install, configure, and maintain wireless network equipment, including access points, routers, and wireless controllers.
• Monitor network performance and address any issues or outages to minimize downtime.
