Engineer - Utilities

Job description / Role

Main Purpose of the Job:

* The Utility Engineer will be responsible for administering the day to day utilities work on a major transit-oriented development in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

* Assist with the design review and construction supervision of all civil and utilities work
* Proactively lead meetings with authorities, contractor etc in relation to utilities
* Establish and implement methods of determining activity schedules within the project team
* Assist in reviewing design submissions, method statement and other correspondence related to utilities
* Provide necessary direction on construction to ensure compliancy to the contract
* Maintain reports on daily progress; ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation and reports

Requirements

Essential Candidate Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in civil engineer from an internally recognised university
* Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role
* Demonstrable experience of working on large building projects such as metro stations
* Demonstrable experience in civil and utilities supervision on major building and infrastructure projects in the GCC
* Extensive knowledge and experience in project planning, budgeting, cost phasing and control from
