Reporting to: Head of Department
Number required: 12
Duration: 1 year fixed term contract - potential for renewal
Desired start date: 01/10/2016
Probation: 3 months

Main responsibilities:
- Provide high quality teaching and access to learning. Teaching Engineering (Inspection) It is expected that the post holder will contribute to course design, development and review of the Engineering (inspection) provision, sharing best practice and ideas for improvement where these are identified.
- Deliver inspirational teaching and access to learning for all students on programme.
- Provide teaching and assessment opportunities in line with the relevant awarding body requirements to promote access to achieving English Language.
- Prepare Schemes of Work and Lesson Plans that reflect student need and address the requirements of the syllabus in a creative way.

Working Hours: 40 hours a week (25 hours a week teaching) - Sunday to Thursday
Travel requirements: You will be required to travel to KSA 1 week prior to start date
Gross monthly base salary: Tax free salary paid in SAR
Commission / Bonus: End of contract bonus (circa 2 weeks salary – tax free of course)
Other Benefits: All expenses paid fully furnished accommodation within a sought after location, return flights, free transport to and from work, 30 days holiday plus an additional 11 ‘bank holidays’

Requirements

In order to be considered you will need to be able to answer yes to the following...
- Do you have a relevant teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed)?
- Do you have a degree? other degrees with a technical background may also be considered?
- Do you have experience teaching the subject in a Further Education College?
- Are you fluent in English?
- Do you hold a Craft Qualification - City & Guilds / BTEC?

There are some age and nationality restrictions which affect a Colleges ability to obtain a visa in Saudi. Due to these restrictions, please find below requirements of obtaining a Visa for Saudi Arabia:
- Candidates must be aged between 30 and 57 years old.
- You must have a minimum of 6 months valid on your passport.
- Any candidates who are not British, Irish, Australian or American are immediately rejected.
