Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in projects
• Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications
• Providing steel designs for warehouses, sheds, factories, platforms, canopies, parking, industrial and decorative steel
• Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs and demand
• Direct recruitment, placement and evaluation of architecture or engineering project staff
• Develop or implement policies, standards or procedures for engineering and technical work
• Support work to develop process improvements and enhancements to maximize production and quality
• Assess company roadmap and allocate engineering resources to projects appropriately
• Resolve project conflicts, issues among teams and establish appropriate resolution paths
• Manage tracking of engineering team performance
• Communicate with senior management regularly

Requirements

This position exists to: (i) manage the Albaddad Engineering Team, project schedules and development process; (ii) work collaboratively with the entire engineering team as well as cross-functionally within the organization; and (iii) work across engineering, product and project teams to define project scope and timeline based on the engineering resources.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
• At least ten (10) Years of experience in the management of engineering team within prefabricated constructions solutions/aluminum and glass products/designing mobile aluminum halls
• Skilled in using these softwares: Sap2000, Autocad & Prokon
• Working knowledge on engineering calculations, minimum design loads for building and other structures, structural steel connection design,
• Must have extensive knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications and materials
• Skilled in MS Word, Excel and Project
• Must be flexible, analytical and demonstrates leadership
• Excellent English communication skills in both written and verbal
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and influence others regardless of role/level
