Engineering Manager (Grid Integration)

Up to 35,000 AED per month plus benefits.
The Company:
A global leader in the Engineering & Technology sector. This business unit is focused on Transmission & Distribution systems for the power sector. They work as a main contractor and OEM for their clients. To support an increasing order-book they are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager in their UAE business. This position is especially focused on grid integration for new renewable energy projects.
The Role:
• Working as part of the engineering and projects team you will be responsible for first and second level design for transmission and distribution solutions for grid integration of new projects, especially renewable energy.
• You will oversee and lead the design and engineering of the transmission and distribution solutions, which will be up to 500kV.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the projects are designed and engineered to the highest level, whilst interfacing with the client and other project stakeholders.
• These will be greenfield projects across the Middle East and parts of Asia.
• The role will be 80% office based with 20% regional travel to client sites, particularly in India and Pakistan.

• All inclusive salary range of 35,000 AED per month (base salary, housing allowance and transport allowance combined).

30,000 to 35,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
The Candidate:
• Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 15 years’ experience in the design and engineering of transmission projects.
• Experience with HV and EHV transmission and distribution projects.
• Previous experience in grid integration for renewable energy projects.
• Regional or international experience will be an advantage.
