Yas School is currently seeking to recruit a high-performing Cycle 1 English Homeroom Teacher to join our team for January 2026 or sooner if possible.

At Yas School, we deliver the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum and have a special focus on inclusive education, enrichment and preparing future ready learners. Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school educating 1750+ girls and boys on our extensive campus.

We are seeking a proven practitioner, with expertise in UK or US curricula, and ideally experience with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.

As a teacher at Yas School, you will be expected to deliver dynamic and effective lessons that support students’ academic progress, personal growth, and overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in empowering students to reach their full potential, preparing them to thrive as competitive global citizens while embracing and reinforcing the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.

As a teacher, you will actively foster strong relationships and open communication with parents, colleagues, and students, ensuring high academic and behavioural standards that reflect the school’s ethos and policies. You will be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student is inspired to excel.

The successful candidate should:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject area.
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is an advantage.
• Be proficient in English (demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent).
• Bilingual skills (English & Arabic) are highly desirable.
• Have a UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be working towards attaining one.
• Have at least 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
