We are looking for creative, motivated and entrepreneurial people to join the Skills to Shine team in Dubai and across the Middle East. Skills to Shine initiative approach to learning bridges the gap between education and business, We deliver enterprise educational within school time and as extra-curricular activities. We are a UK based organisation and back in June we launched Skills to Shine in Dubai. We are now looking for experiences education facilitators and teachers to join our team on a casual basis.

We are currently looking for Business Development and Programme Facilitators as well as Holiday Club Facilitators.

Business Development and Programme Facilitators:

You will be responsible for Business Development across the UAE including;
• Promoting and selling the Skills to Shine programmes into schools across the UAE
• Working in partnership with the UK head office to coordinate marketing and advertising of programmes to schools, parents and students
• Obtain corporate sponsorship for programmes and events

Programme Development and Delivery across the UAE including;
• Developing a network of leading business and industry experts to support the delivery of Skills to Shine programmes
• Developing relationships within schools
• Plan and schedule programmes within schools
• Manage and run educational programmes within schools to large numbers of young people, parents and teachers

We are interested in staff that can work full or part time. Commission based package with Visa's negotiable.

Holiday Club Facilitation

Skills to Shine has a team of teachers working around the world to deliver Skills to Shine holiday clubs and after school clubs. Our aim is to support as many young people as possible of a yearly basis and are recruiting like minded enthusiastic teachers with a degree of entrepreneurial to help us achieve this.

How does it work

As a teacher in the school you:
• Sign up to offer the programme to your students
• Attend an introductory session to find out more about the programme
• Receive marketing and recruitment material including consent forms, flyers, posters, short videos' to show in assemblies or lessons as well as pop up banners to put around the school.
• You then recruit your students onto the holiday club. They either sign up online or by handing consent forms back to you.
• Depending on numbers you recruit like minded teachers to work on the programme, they register directly with us and we pay them directly so all you need to do is give them the link.
• Attend a full day training session on how to deliver the programme before delivering it to your students.
• You receive a payment up to 25% of the income from the holiday club.

Skills to Shine will:

• Give you all the literature and resources you need to recruit students onto the programme.
• Give you and your school a specific login and sign up area
• Deal with telephone and on-line enquiries from parents
• Design and plan your Holiday programme
• Supply you with detailed lesson plans, arrange business visits and coordinate business mentors to come into school throughout the programme.
• Supply you with everything you need to run the programme from resources for each lesson to pens, paper and arts and crafts.
• Send you your Skills to Shine pack including staff T-Shirts and Hoodies, student lanyards, water bottles, note books, trophies, certificate and pens.
• Take care of the health and safety, student consent, insurance, risk assessments, policies and procedures.
• At the end of the programme you get students and parents to complete an on-line survey, send us a selection of photos and we send you back case studies and evaluations that track learning outcomes these can be used to support your schools Ofsted, KDHA, ADEC, EDB or equivalent inspection.

Requirements

Suitable candidates must have experience of working in the education sector as well as a background in teaching or youth work. We are look for people that have an already existing network and knowledge of local schools and are capable of developing the business. You will be educated to degree level with excellent communication, motivation and entrepreneur skills.
