Are you the Environmental Consultant we need?

Our Regional Environmental Team completes projects for international and local clients in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and KSA.  The success of the team is the result of an unrelenting focus on understanding our client's business, forming strong relationships built on trust and getting it right first time.  As a result of the team's expanding workload, we have a need for an Environmental Consultant in our Abu Dhabi office.

We're after someone who shares our passion for improving quality of life. You'll need to be interested in understanding the bigger picture and enjoy the challenge of delivering solutions that work not just for now but for the future too.

As our Environmental Consultant you will need to:
* Contribute to data collection and coordination for a multi-themed environmental baseline database project under direction of the Project Manager.
* Prepare and contribute to environmental assessment documentation including: environmental permit applications, preliminary environmental reviews, environmental impact assessments (EIAs), strategic environmental assessments (SEAs) and construction environmental management plans (CEMPs).
* Fulfill environmental e on sites to ensure compliance with environmental management plans. 
* Facilitate site environmental awareness.
* Fulfill he environmental officer/consultant role on site to ensure compliance with the construction environmental management plan.
* Manage and coordinate any environmental permitting required for the project.  
* Support other environment team projects as and when required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree and/or MSc/second degree from an accredited university with a membership of an appropriate professional institute or association and should have demonstrable experience in the provision of environmental consultancy services.

The candidate should also have 2+ years' experience, including some experience working in an international consultancy.
