Environmental Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Fujairah. In this role, you will help design, implement, and monitor projects aimed at protecting the environment and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to devise innovative solutions that minimize environmental impact while promoting sustainable practices.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental assessments and prepare reports to evaluate the impact of proposed projects.
- Design and oversee remediation projects for contaminated sites.
- Monitor environmental conditions and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Develop and implement environmental management systems and strategies.
- Collaborate with government agencies, clients, and community groups to raise awareness of environmental issues.
- Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in field surveys and site investigations as necessary.
- Provide technical advice and guidance on environmental matters.

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in environmental engineering or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficient in environmental assessment tools and software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive approach to project management and ability to meet deadlines.
