Job description / Role
Mechanical Technician - Equipment Repair
One of reputed company in Aluminium refinery is looking for Mechanical Technician- Equipment Repair Shop for their operation in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Repair/overhauling of mechanical equipment's such as Centrifugal pumps, Gearboxes (SEW drive), Cylinders (Pneumatic & Hydraulic) (PARKER, REXROTH, NORGREN, FESTO, Etc.) Hydraulic pumps, Hydraulic motors, Hyd. Valves, Torque Motors,
- Repair/overhauling of mechanical equipment's such as Lobe Blowers (Experience on AERZEN, ROBUSHI blowers), Vane Compressors (Experience on MATTEI, INGERSOLL compressors).
- Repair/overhauling of mechanical equipment's related to EOT Cranes, Lifting Hoist and Winches
- Repair/ Overhauling of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment's.
- Must have the knowledge of Fits & Tolerances, Gear backlash, Shaft Alignment, Cylinder Testing, Gas cutting, Welding
- Knowledge of reading Machine drawings, Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuit diagrams & Trouble shooting of the respective equipment's.
- Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary. Record repairs and maintenance performed.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 yrs. experience as Equipment Repair Technician in Maintenance work shop
- Performs and undertake a complete range of dismantling, repair, and overhaul activities related to plant equipment, machinery and structures.
- Has the ability to Read engineering drawings and should possess good communication skills and have the ability to work with a diversified work culture.
- Must have knowledge about Bearings.(Bearing training is added advantage
- Must have knowledge and Experience in use of all Measuring Instruments and Basic Machine shop experience in operating Lathe and Drilling machines.
- Must have experience in trouble shooting of workshop equipment's like Hydraulic Jacks, Pumps, Lathe machines, Drilling, Milling, Hydraulic Press, Shearing machines etc.
- Very Good Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Power Point,) knowledge of SAP systems are an added advantage.
- Minimum Undergraduate with Diploma/ITI / NCVT Trade certificates in Mill Wright Maintenance / Maintenance Fitter from a reputed Institute.
- Must be currently in UAE / employment
Salary Package : AED 8000 -9000 /month
