Job description / Role
Our client, a fast-growing marketing and printing house is currently looking for a competent ESKO ROUTER Machine Operator to use ESKO Routing machinery safely and accurately and to be based in Dubai. Should be able to perform a variety of functions, produce high quality materials by operating machines and can work with great concentration and precision.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Prepare and operate the Esko router machine, understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading drawings
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Perform daily machine preventive maintenance to ensure functionality
Requirements
• Read and interpret documents and drawings.
• Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming.
• Have mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• Have a keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
• 2-4 years proven experience as Router operator gained from a Manufacturing, Joinery/ Woodworks or Large Format Advertising Agency.
• Have skills in operating routing machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
