Job description / Role

Greetings from Daniel & Philip's Leaf - DPL Group, a leading recruitment consultancy based in GCC

Our client is a leading suppliers of Structural Steel Buildings based in RAK.

Responsibilities & Duties
• Establish efficient guidelines of design and estimating codes and standards.
• Develop estimation price list in accordance to the company’s standards.
• Establish standard proposal offer
• Review and check the designed, estimated and drawing of new / revised quotations done by design/estimating engineering and ensures their accuracy.
• Supervise and take necessary actions to rectify problems.
• Update required technical information for the department.
• Ensure that the personnel are meeting deadlines and meeting company and customer’s expectations.
• Interact with customers and respond to customers’ inquires.
• Close coordination with customer services, engineering, and purchasing departments and area offices.

Salary:
AED 18,000 to 22,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Job Related Competencies & Specifications

Educational background & Experience:
• Bachelor / Master Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in estimating of steel structures or pre-fabricated steel structures in UAE,

Knowledge , skill and competencies:
• Extensive Knowledge International design and building codes such as MBMA, IBC, AISC and AISI.
• Knowledge of MBS, STAAD software.
• Proficient in other computer applications including MS office.
• Fluent in English with typing skill.
• Analytical thinker with strong leadership skill.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skill.
• Candidate should be in UAE and with UAE EXP from PEB OR Hot Rolled Steel Structures is a must
