Estimating Manager

Job description / Role

Due to the increase in tendering activities in the UAE our client, a Leading Tier 1 Building Contractor, is looking to hire an Estimating Manager/Senior Estimator for their Abu Dhabi office.

Key Duties:
• Reviewing Tender documents, Conducting Site visits, Evaluation/vetting of Sub Contractor & supplier quotes, Construction Methodology.
• Preparing Estimates in CCS (Direct & Indirect) for Industrial Buildings, Shopping Malls, Residential and Mixed Use Developments for Management review.
• Evaluating potential Risk & Opportunities.
• Coordination with Quantity Surveyor/s, Planning, Technical Team, Operations & Contracts during pre & post tender stage.
• Attend negotiation meetings, coordination with client during pre & post tender.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years Main Contracting experience with at least 2 to 3 years time spent in the Abu Dhabi Construction Market.
• Degree qualified ideally.
• Extensive experience using CCS software.
• Knowledge of tendering for similar type projects such as Large Commercial, Residential, Leisure Schemes.
• Strong Management and Communication skills.
• Sufficient English language and writing competencies.
