We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Estimator to join our Head Office in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on roadworks and utilities. The role requires proven experience in UAE infrastructure projects, particularly RTA projects, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to support successful bids and tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, drainage, and associated civil works.
2) Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and RTA standards to identify scope, risks, and cost drivers.
3) Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis using approved estimation tools and methodologies.
4) Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
5) Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and commercial teams during tender preparation.
6) Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and clarification processes with clients and authorities.
7) Prepare value engineering options, cost comparisons, and risk allowances where required.
8) Support post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and handover to project execution teams.
9) Maintain cost databases, benchmark data, and lessons learned for future tenders.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
2) Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Estimator in civil infrastructure projects within the UAE.
3) Strong hands-on experience in road and/or utilities estimation for RTA projects (mandatory).
4) Sound knowledge of RTA standards, specifications, and tendering procedures.
5) Proficiency in estimation software, MS Excel, and quantity take-off tools.
6) Strong analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail skills.
7) Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
8) Excellent communication and coordination skills.
