Estimator - Piling and Ground Engineering projects up to AED 100 million

• Analysis of tender documents such as drawings, specifications, BOQ’s, time schedules, soil investigation reports etc.
• Preparation of cost estimates, time schedules, cash flow plans, cover letters incl. qualifications, commercial terms and conditions, etc.
• Preparation of tender presentations incl. project summary, cost estimates, technical and commercial risks etc. for management approval
• Liaising with clients, engineers and all involved departments during tender stage for tender clarifications, ensuring cost effectiveness in compliance with the client’s requirements
• Determination of technical and commercial risks, performing risk analysis in compliance with the companies’ integrated management system
• Preparing technical submissions such as site organization charts, equipment schedules, work force allocation, method statements etc.
• Developing and incorporating site execution strategies into bids and generating value engineering ideas in cooperation with the design team
• Investigating and evaluating optimal technical and commercial solutions with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Participating in site visits

Requirements

• Bachelor in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Master will be preferred
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience as Estimator, within the Ground Engineering
• Middle East experience working for a reputable ground engineering contractor
• Experience in building up unit rates for ground engineering works such as foundation piles, shoring systems, anchors, grouting, cut-off walls, soil improvement etc.
• Proficiency in English language, Arabic will be a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team, set priorities and meet deadlines
