Job description / Role
Our client is currently looking for an Events Manager to work alongside the marketing team for a position based in Abu Dhabi.
The role is open for a young and dynamic professional, who is keen to work alongside a big name in the UAE market and gain experience as part of a driven team.
The role will entail overseeing events from planning through to execution, while also having the responsibility of keeping the budget in line with our clients objectives.
The role also encourages the selected candidate to think strategically about ways to enhance the planned events to increase the input to the target audience.
The selected candidate will highlight a previous ability to develop large scale events, and while a background in retail would be the most suitable for the role, it is not essential.
Requirements
- Plan large scale event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
- Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Coordinate all operations alongside the marketing department
- Lead promotional activities for the event
- Approve all aspects before the day of the event
- Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports for the group Marketing Manager.
Salary AED 15,000 - AED 18,000 plus other benefits
