Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly regarded five star hotel in Dubai, an established events venue with extensive facilities. Our client is looking to hire an Events Manager to be solely responsible for special events with a substantial focus on weddings.
You will be responsible for handling the process all the way from inquiry to point of contact on the day. You will be out in the market building relationships and developing the special events business. You will report directly to the Director of Events and work in coordination with the existing events team.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in events within a five star hotel in Dubai or the UAE. You should have a passion for special events and weddings and be a proactive ambitious person. As the role is based in Dubai, our client has stated a preference for an Arabic speaker, although this is not essential. You also should have worked in Dubai performing a similar role or looking for the next step up in their career.
