A Leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional career opportunity available for an Events Manager based in Dubai.

Job Scope
To plan and ensure execution of marketing campaigns in full alignment with the Brand guidelines. To develop, manage and execute all types of events and boutique activations to support the business objectives and the growth of the brand in the Middle East.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities
• Assist the Marketing & Communications Director in developing the Marketing Strategy and executing tactical initiatives across all marketing functions for each country/partner, ensuring that it is in line with the brand’s overall strategic direction
• Create, update and maintain the marketing calendar for all marketing initiatives
• Ensure compliance to the agreed budget of all marketing activities
• Identify opportunities to enhance and build stronger brand equity and make suitable recommendations to the Marketing & Communications Director
• Maintain a thorough understanding of brand guidelines, ensuring to adhere to these across all managed marketing activities
• Develop and execute BTL, POS and marketing collateral in line with marketing objectives and ensure quality production of the same
• Maintain coordination will all the brand’s stakeholders to ensure full awareness of forthcoming collections / styles and communication opportunities
• Ensure accurate maintenance of the archiving system for all executed elements in the marketing calendar
• Maintain effective working relations and contacts with key external parties, such as partners, vendors, mall management, etc.
• Work with the cross functional teams to align on brand strategy and direction in the relevant region and market
• Map competitors’ activities Vis a Vis marketing activities in relation to the brand strategy

Event Specific
• Define the Event Strategy and Plan for the brand in the region
• Develop and implement the calendar of regional events aligned with product launch plan
• Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and sales objectives
• Project lead the pillar statement events of the year
• Prepare the event brief in coordination with HQ guidelines
• Be the key contact of all stakeholder such as headquarters, agencies, partners
• Ensure best resources are selected keeping the highest quality as per brand standards
• Source and coordinate all operations with vendors and suppliers
• Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
• Guarantee immersive customer experience aligned with brand DNA and guidelines
• Propose design, mood board aligned with product launch/event's theme
• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
• Site inspections/visits of the proposed venues aligned with the brand’s standards
• Propose a series of boutique activations to upon retail team needs
• Responsible of event production and implementation
• Distribute tasks to all necessary department (Marketing, Retail, Merchandising, Logistics etc…) ensuring objectives are clearly understood
• Plan, manage and coordinate the execution phase in collaboration with the production team of the agency as per the agreed theme, plan and renders
• Approve all aspects before the day of the event
• Ensure event is completely smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
• Responsible of Events Follow-up
• Measure results and ROI
• Keep track of all expenses related to the event respecting the budget allocated
• Make sure all invoices are received, approved and sent to the finance + coordinate all necessary invoicing between suppliers and Finance department
• Prepare Events presentation deck to be shared internally and with HQ

Requirements

• Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Business, Marketing Management or Mass Communications
• 6 to 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role working with a brand and in a relevant industry. Events experience is essential
• Proven experience in Marketing & Events and skilled in project management
• Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• A knack for problem-solving
• Customer-service orientation
• Excellent communication skills and relationship management with suppliers, vendors and other third parties
• Team player with leadership skills
• Result Oriented
• Should be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint & Excel
• Must have an excellent command of English. Arabic language skills would be an advantage
