Employment: Full Time

The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, detail oriented, engaging and has interpersonal communications skills. This candidate will represent the Event Planning Department to guests and clients as well as internally to the rest of the hotel. This position communicates with all departments in the hotel to ensure a high level of service. The candidate will communicate with groups in house and act as a liaison between On Site contacts and the Events Department. They are responsible for walking the meeting space, ensuring room sets are complete and being proactive for future wedding events.

The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to a team of Event and Sales Managers who book meetings and events at the hotel. Administrative tasks will include but aren't limited to - creating and organizing group files, handling billing coordination before and after a group arrives, answering phones and emails, assisting with Sales Leads, as well as supporting the Sales and Events Team in general administration. Additional duties could include; detailing banquet event orders, planning and communicating with clients, and being responsible for taking on their own groups, as assigned by the Event Planning Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications:
* Minimum of two years' experience in a as an Events Planning Executive within a 5 star hotel related to group business
* Excellent knowledge of the Dubai market and experience with the luxury segment Strong hotel product knowledge and be well versed in up-selling techniques

* Prior experience of a minimum of 2 years in wedding planning is mandatory
* Good written and oral command of Arabic Language
