Job description / Role
Our client is a highly regarded international UHNWI, with offices in Europe, who is expanding the company footprint into the UAE and will be based in the prestigious DIFC area. Currently working out of boutique serviced offices, the Executive Assistant will essentially be involved in all aspects of setting up and supporting the organisation as it expands here and ultimately acquires its own office space, as well as supporting the principal on a 1:1 level both personally and professionally as they will be spending increasing amounts in the UAE.
As the organisation is at the very early stages of establishing here, the EA will need to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability as the role and structure evolves. Currently, the role will be based at Reception and will be the contact point for any visitors to the office and will manage an extensive and complex diary internationally, as well as heavy travel management, which will include private jet travel, hence, prior experience with the private jet charter process is required. Additionally, you will be the contact liaison point for the DIFC and DFSA ensuring all processes and policies are aligned with regulatory law and you will manage the eventual full office move and set up.
Requirements:
There will be adhoc duties that arise frequently, both in the personal and professional capacity of the principal; hence we are seeking an all-round skilled EA, where no job is too big or too small. The key challenge for the role is related to multi-tasking and balancing many different priorities, both internally and externally, that will relate to different projects, thus you will need to be someone who enjoys project management and thinking outside of the box and who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. There is a strong network of executive support around the principal internationally, and you will need to be an active team player, but equally someone who can provide value to an individual who is unfamiliar with UAE. Hence only candidates with at least three years’ experience will be considered for the position. It also vital from the business perspective that candidates are fluent German and English speakers.
Effective organizational skills with a keen attention to detail are paramount, coupled with excellent communication skills and an advanced MS office skill set. We are seeking an individual with a mature outlook, someone self-motivated for this role, who enjoys working in smaller office environments and even alone.
This role represents considerable room for growth and development over the coming years.
