Job description / Role
This is a career Executive Assistant role, where no day will ever be the same and you will need to be prepared for every eventuality; from last minute changes to the schedule, to on the spot event glitches, to high-spec presentations within minutes and extensive liaison with the Principle’s private Assistant who this role will report to. The position requires a robust personality and the clear understanding of what working at this level really involves. It is a high-octane role, working at a fast pace, where mistakes cannot be made.
This role supports a C-Suite executive at the top of his career. He is a dedicated and highly energetic gentleman, whose life runs at 100 miles an hour, with very little sleep and as his assistant you need to be one step ahead of him at all times. As a key member of the team you will support him and liaise consistently with the Private PA. You also work closely with other team C-suite support staff and strategic partners of the Principle on related tasks and projects. You will support him on the move, managing all travel arrangements, by working with commercial and private aircraft partners globally and have an awareness of international operations. You will attend meetings and events at key destinations with the CEO and proactively manage his time using your expert judgement. You will always be aware of where he is and what I coming next, pre-empting any potential conflicts in the schedule.
There is a very strong administrative element to the role, including; writing briefs and speeches, creating complex presentations and managing internal and external communication, as well as tracking and submitting all financial reimbursements. Additionally, research, analysis and project management play a large part in the role, as you will be required to participate in organization-wide projects that require additional support in collection and assimilation of data, feasibility analysis support and you will attend operational, project and program-related meetings, in order to capture information and ensure appropriate follow through.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in performing critical support roles. A strong commitment to delivering excellence and understanding the importance of anticipating and proactively supporting the Principle’s needs is required. Candidates will possess Arabic as a first language and English ability must be to a very high standard, coupled with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution. A sense of humor and the willingness to do ‘whatever it takes’ is vital.
This is not a 9-5 position and we are seeking candidates who can go above and beyond, providing real core support to Principle.
