Our client has requested us to shortlist for this position in the next few weeks, for a late July start date. Priority will go to candidates who have either found themselves redundant due to Covid-19, or those whose roles are in jeopardy.
As this well regarded global FMCG group pushes further ahead with innovation and growth within this region, the Managing Director is now seeking a highly intuitive Executive Assistant to support him fully on a day to day basis. This is an exciting position for an outstanding support professional to provide an efficient, responsive, and confidential administrative support service to this individual, whilst acting as a trusted gatekeeper.
This is a busy role and the Managing Director is a perfectionist and has huge ambition for the region. The role needs an individual with huge attention to detail, initiative and someone who is a real go-getter to work closely and keep up with him! As with most roles at this level, there will also be elements of personal work required, such as assisting the family with travel plans, private shopping, managing household bills and adhoc project work.
Duties of the role will include diary management, drafting correspondence, minute taking, assisting and monitoring budgets and liaising with country heads, ensuring reports and figures are all filed on time. You will be required to attend meetings where necessary on the MD’s behalf, should he be travelling and provide full reports and presentations as requested. Full research prior to each meeting should be conducted and subsequent briefing notes supplied to the MD. There will be considerable stakeholder management, both internally and externally. This is a dynamic company environment and they operate across a wide territory with extensive time difference.
We are looking for a fluent English speaker, who is used to working within a diverse cultural group and has prior UAE experience at this level.
This is a highly stable organisation, who thankfully have been largely unaffected by the outbreak of Covid-19.
